2020 Lexus IS

The new Lexus IS has a variety of trims available for the 2020 model year: IS 300, IS 300 F Sport, IS 300 AWD, IS 300 F Sport AWD, IS 350, IS 350 F Sport, IS 300 F Sport RWD Black Line Special Edition, IS 300 F Sport AWD Black Line Special Edition, and the IS 350 F Sport Black Line Special Edition. Each trim level offers tons of excellent features. The Black Line Package adds 18-inch wheels finished in black vapor chrome, a black chrome front grille, and matching side mirrors.

There are a few engines available for the new IS, depending on which trim you select. The rear-wheel drive models get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 241 horsepower. The 3.5-liter V-6 engine makes 260 horsepower and is the standard engine for most trims. The all-wheel-drive IS 300 gets an upgraded 3.5-liter V-6 which provides 280 horsepower. The engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifting, or a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifting is available in the all-wheel drive trims. Both transmissions shift smooth and offer an incredible performance.

The IS handles the road exceptionally well, with tightly controlled steering and comfortable yet sporty suspension. The F Sport trims have upgraded suspension components that add even more performance to the sedan. The IS has selectable drive modes and paddle shifting, letting you become fully emerged in the driving experience. Lexus does an excellent job of tuning the IS to provide the ultimate in performance driving, giving you a fun ride every time you get behind the wheel.

With soft to the touch surfaces, aluminum accents, and perfectly fitted panel gaps, the Lexus IS is a wonderful example of refined luxury. The IS has a beautiful analog clock and a standard 7-inch touch screen infotainment system connected to a 10-speaker audio system. There is an available 10.3-inch touch screen infotainment system available, along with a 15-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system. The IS has heated seats available, and a sunroof comes standard in all trims.

The suite of safety features loaded in the new IS is nothing less than the best. Lexus Enform Safety Connect, LED rear combination lamps, rain-sensing wipers, an automatic braking system, LED headlamps with automatic high-beams, and parking assist are all available in the IS. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a 10 air bag system, a tire pressure monitor, and a backup camera are among some of the many options and standard features available to you when you purchase a new Lexus IS.
