2020 Lexus NX

The sharp body lines with the L-shaped LED exterior lights and tapered tail lights are signs of the classic Lexus design. Embodied in scratch-resistant paint, the SUV is visually appealing, but also boasts practical features like the available power rear door with its kick sensor.
The five-passenger compact SUV comes in five trim levels starting with the base level NX 300. The NX 300 F Sport adds 18-inch wheels, special exterior styling elements, sport-tuned suspension, bolstered seats, and a sports steering wheel. The NX 300 Luxury includes an elegant perforated leather-trimmed interior, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel.
The two hybrid versions include the NX 300h and the NX 300h Luxury. The hybrid engines work together with powerful electric motors for great performance.

Standard in the Lexus NX 300 is the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. With a horsepower of 235 and 258 pounds-feet of torque which is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, the Lexus gives a good ride. It accelerates to 60 miles per hour in 7.2 seconds.

The precise steering aids the driver in every situation and works well with the seamless transmission shifts. The quiet drive grips the road impressively as it takes corners with ease. The NX 300's brake pedal feel and response allows for easy modulation and smooth, uncluttered driving.

The modern interior's plush seating is spacious with easy entry and exit into the vehicle. The driver's seat and steering wheel have a memory function to set your perfect driving position. Adding to comfort, the seat back reclines to allow passengers a snooze on longer trips. An additional feature is the removable vanity mirror in the center console for a quick selfie check or make-up touch up.
Air-conditioning vents are available in the rear allowing passengers to control their temperature levels. The climate control system heats or cools the cabin quickly and the temperature can be activated via voice recognition.
The infotainment center is effective with Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa. The navigation system, which is optional, is user-friendly and includes traffic information. 4G LTE Wi-Fi is available in the cabin for the first year.
With regards to cargo space, the NX 300 has 17.7 cubic feet available behind the rear seats. Door pockets, a glove box, and a center console compartment are on hand to store gadgets and small goods.

New standard safety equipment via the Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 includes low-light pedestrian detection, daytime cyclist detection, road sign recognition, and lane centering assist systems. These are over and above the standard adaptive cruise control and front collision mitigation braking.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not yet assessed the 2020 model, but the National Highway Traffic Administration rated it a 5-star overall crash protection.
