The 2023 RX Hybrid features a new 2.4-liter turbo inline four-cylinder engine that delivers 246 horsepower and 233 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with two electric motors, enabling the vehicle to switch between gas and electric power seamlessly. A more powerful variant, the RX 500h F Sport Performance, pairs the same engine with a larger electric motor for an output of 367 horsepower.

With its hybrid powertrain, the 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid is capable of an impressive fuel economy rating of 36 mpg combined. The combination of electric and gasoline motors also provides more than enough power for most driving situations and can effortlessly accelerate up to highway speeds. On winding roads and highway on-ramps, the F Sport variant's retuned powertrain gives it a bit more punch.
