The 2.7L 4-Cylinder: It’s a workhorse, but it can feel a bit sluggish when the car is packed with 7 people. It’s great for city commuting and longevity.
The 3.5L V6: This is the engine I recommend. It’s one of the best V6s ever built (the 2GR-FE). It has plenty of passing power and, surprisingly, the fuel economy isn't much worse than the 4-cylinder because it doesn't have to work as hard to move the heavy frame.
The Base trim means you’re avoiding the expensive electronic air suspensions or complex infotainment systems found in higher trims.

Center Stow Seat: A cool feature of this generation is the removable second-row middle seat. You can stow it inside the front center console to create Captain's Chairs or pop it in to seat three across.
Tech: Being a 2013 Base, it’s basic. You’ll have Bluetooth® for calls, but you might need a $20 adapter if you want to stream music perfectly or use modern apps.
